Alabama Network of Children's Advocacy Centers, Inc.

 

OUR MISSION: The Alabama Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers, Inc. (ANCAC or The Network) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote the multi-disciplinary process in fostering an abuse-free society for Alabama’s children and support the development of the children’s advocacy center model through public awareness, training and networking.

The Network achieves this mission through 27 full-member advocacy centers, one associate member, and one pilot project that serve 54 counties with forensic interviewing, evaluations and counseling.

The individual centers are located throughout the state and ultimately operate as separate, private, non-profit agencies. However, the centers do come together for various occurrences.

The executive directors of each full-member center serve as a voting member of the Board of Directors of the Alabama Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers, Inc.
