17th Annual Forensic Interviewer Training
In October 2024, ANCAC hosted our Annual Forensic Interviewer Training! It was an incredible opportunity for professionals from across the region to come together, learn, and grow. From expert-led workshops to hands-on sessions, our participants are now equipped with even more tools to advocate for and protect the well-being of children.
Thank you to our speakers from Southern Regional CAC, dedicated trainers, attendees, and everyone who made this event a success. Your commitment to this important work does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for your continued support. 🙏💙 -

Care House, also known as the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center, is proud to be fully accredited by the National Children’s Alliance (NCA).
NCA is the national body supporting 961 (and growing!) Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) across the U.S. They provide crucial support, advocacy, and quality assurance to help CACs like ours make a real difference in our communities. Together, we offer a coordinated, evidence-based response to children experiencing abuse in all 50 states. 💙
In April 2024, Care House was honored to host Angel Wilson, Program Associate from NCA, for an appreciation visit and tour. We are incredibly grateful for the devoted support that NCA provides to our CAC and to CACs across the country.

Alabama Human Trafficking Summit
In January 2024, we had the opportunity to be an exhibitor at the 10th Annual END IT Alabama Human Trafficking Summit. Over two intense days, we immersed ourselves in crucial discussions, received national updates, and forged connections with fellow nonprofits across the nation. It was a privilege to be a part of a collective effort to combat and prevent human trafficking.
We are committed to staying at the forefront of efforts to prevent and combat this heinous crime.
Being part of the Summit was not just about showcasing our work, but about contributing to a collective mission. We extend our deepest gratitude to the organizers, fellow exhibitors, and everyone who attended for making this event a dynamic hub of inspiration and collaboration.
As we return with a renewed sense of purpose, we are more committed than ever to our mission. The fight against human trafficking is ongoing, and we are dedicated to exploring innovative ways to make a difference.

The Alabama Anti-Human Trafficking Alliance
The first quarterly Alliance meeting of 2024 at the Attorney General's office, where passionate individuals united for a common cause: the national support of child abuse prevention and anti-human trafficking. 💙
The room was filled with a sea of blue, symbolizing our collective commitment to safeguarding the well-being of our children. It was inspiring to witness so many dedicated individuals come together to address and combat human trafficking. 🤝
Key discussions revolved around strategies to raise awareness, implement preventive measures, and provide support to those affected. The enthusiasm in the room was contagious, fueling our shared mission to create a safer environment for every child.
Let's continue to stand together, raise our voices, and take action to protect the future of our nation. Together, we can make a lasting impact on child abuse prevention. 💙
